b. adding a sense of scale and surprise to an ironic view

Select 5, Architecture Preview
Eden project, United Kingdom
La Pedrera, Spain
1. Nicholas Grimshaw
2. 2000
3.Bodelva, Cornwall, United Kingdom
4.You can visit it.
5. There is no information on how much it cost to build it.
6. Yes there was history on the building.
7. I picked this Building because the name sounded cool, and because it was in the united kingdom. When I first saw the pictures of the Eden Project was amazed at how pretty and amazing it looked! After looking at a few different photos I could tell that it is more of a nature site than anything else.
- Charles Denaton
- 1963
- Genesee Mountain, Colorado
- No you can not go and visit it.
- There was no information on how much it cost to build it, only information on how much each guy paid the other guy for the house.
- There was no history on the house.
- I picked this one because in the name it says sculpture and when you hear the word sculpture you think out of the box, different. After looking at some of the photos of this building it reminds me of a mouth.
La Pedrera, Spain
- 1906-1910
- Provença, Barcelona, Spain
- Yes you can go and visit it, concerts are held there.
- It does not mention anything about how much it cost to build it.
- there was some history on the house
- Santiago Calatrava
- February 14, 2001
- Lilla Varvsgatan, Malmö, Sweden
- You can only visit floors 53 and 54, and only for special occasions, pre-booking is required.
- There was no information on how much it cost to build it.'
- There was no history on the building itself.
- I picked the Turning Torso because I though since it said turning that maybe the building itself turned. The turning torso is a really tall building and it kind of reminds me of a water side.
The Longaberger company, united states
- Dave Longaberger
- 1978
- their headquarters is in Newwark, Ohio
- It doesn't say if you can visit it.
- No information on how much it cost to build it.
- There was a little history on how the company started but thats it.
- I picked this because I though that maybe since it was a basket building place that the building may just be a basket and I was right. The building itself looks so cool how they made it into a Basket with everything a normal building would have.

warm up
1. I think this statement is true because people care more about the things the buy and the things they have more than taking a moment to look back at what history built.
2. I would not like to vista this place because it seem to crowded and closed in.
3. I think the child would absolutely love it because the basically have a huge toy room to play in.
4. My favorite photo is the one with all the flowers because it was so colorful and bright.
